Johnstone Muted Tartan Heavyweight 16oz
The Border clan gets their name after the Barony of Johnston in Annandale in the Annandale region, where they are believed to have settled in the thirteenth century. They were a major player in the Border conflict and held significant power. The Crown was their ally. Sir James Johnston of Johnston was named Lord Johnston of Lochwood in 1633. Ten years later, he was named Earl of Hartfell and his son was named the Earl of Annandale in 1661. Johnstone Muted Tartan is generally comprised of Acrylic Wool, and it includes sky blue forest green, yellow and black colors that will reduce the weight of the tartan and provide it with more balance.
