Sir William Murray Jardine of Applegarth the 13th Baronet of Applegarth is the Clan's 24th Chief Jardine and Head of Arms, as well as known as Jardine. His father, Sir William Jardine, 12th Baronet and the 23rd Chief of Clan Jardine was actively involved in the promotion of his clan's activities. He was also an active participant in the Committee of the Council of Chiefs. The Jardine tartan was developed in the late '90s. The design was accepted by 23rd Jardine Clan Chief Sir Alexander Maule Jardine of Applegarth 12th Baronet. It was designated the official Jardine tartan for the entire family. Jardine Tartan can be a perfect choice for any occasion or event. The Tartan is typically composed of Acrylic Wool, and it contains red, yellow, brown, blue, and black colors that will reduce the weight of the tartan and provide it with more balance.
