Edinburgh Tartan
Historical Significance

The design also incorporates the Arms of the City of Edinburgh Council, depicting a castle resting on a rocky foundation. This tartan gained prominence during the 1997 Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting, further cementing its status as a symbol of Edinburgh�s rich heritage. Edinburgh Castle, a historic royal palace and military stronghold, has played an essential role in the city�s story for centuries.
